Eclipse 2020 – 21st Annual Luncheon & Fashion Show
Thank you in advance for your support of the Richard David Kann (RDK) Melanoma Foundation! Our 21st Annual “Eclipse” Luncheon & Fashion Show takes place on January 20, 2020, in the beautiful Venetian Ballroom at The Breakers, Palm Beach. Our Silent Auction will feature beautiful items and many one-of-a-kind experiences, followed by a striking Runway Fashion Show.
More that one million Americans are diagnosed with skin cancer each year. As a charitable organization, we request that you will support our efforts and help the Foundation raise awareness as we expand our programs and resources, thus furthering our mission. Our Foundation has been the first of its kind in Florida, and is the leading provider for education about the prevention and early detection of skin cancer, including melanoma, its deadliest form; no family should ever have to suffer the loss of a loved one from a disease that is almost 100% preventable with education. The Foundation’s programs include the award-winning SunSmart America™ K-12 curriculum for students, grades K-12, SunSmart America™ Schools Sun Safety Policy, the Melanoma Monday Art Contest in Schools, and Students Against Melanoma (SAM) Clubs in Middle and High Schools.
This 2020 “Eclipse” Luncheon offers many opportunities for you to join our fight to save lives, by becoming an SPF Sponsor of this exciting and worthy event, donating to our fabulous silent auction, or by reserving an ad in our program Journal. Our acclaimed Journal is a high quality, professionally bound, full color publication. It is a keepsake, with photos from past events, tributes to Honorees and loved ones, in addition to advertising or showcasing your business/product/service. It will also be a valuable resource for luncheon guests to contact skin related spas and clinics, as well as members of our medical community, and is available online at melanomaluncheon.com.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Executive Director, Stacy Ostrau and staff at: 561-655-9655. On behalf of the RDK Melanoma Foundation and the 2020 “Eclipse” Luncheon committee, we look forward to partnering with you.
Message from Chair and Executive Director
Dear Friends and Supporters,
It is an honor and a privilege for us to co-chair the 21st Annual Richard David Kann (RDK) Melanoma Foundation Eclipse Luncheon and Fashion show – featuring J. Mendel – to be held Monday, January 20, 2020 at the Breakers, Palm Beach.
Skin Cancer is the most common cancer in the United States and most cases of melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, are caused by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light; the sun!
We have both seen the devastating effects Melanoma has had on family and friends and that propelled us to team up with the RDK Foundation to save lives by changing behaviors through education to increase awareness on sun safety prevention and early detection of skin cancer, especially melanoma, for all ages.
With your support and generosity, we can truly make a difference. We invite you to join our efforts and be among our esteemed sponsors and patrons for the 2020 Eclipse Luncheon and Fashion Show. Your commitment will make a positive impact in the fight to reduce the risk of melanoma and save lives.
Please contact the RDK Melanoma Foundation office at (561) 655-9655 or reach out to us directly to join the cause.
We look forward to seeing you at the 21st Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show.
With gratitude and best wishes
